Job summary

Amazon AWS seeks an Engagement Manager for Worldwide Public Sector Professional Services, focusing on State and Local Government & Education. You will lead multi-stream, cross-functional teams to plan and deliver transformational cloud initiatives, balancing scope, schedule, and cost while aligning stakeholders.

You will guide customers through cloud journeys, demonstrate leadership, and ensure value delivery with agile methodologies, traveling to client sites as required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leading the delivery of IT projects with external customers or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of program or engagement management leading other project managers to deliver a program with multiple and concurrent projects experience.
• 1+ years of working as a Scrum Master or Product Owner across multiple cross-functional teams experience.
• 3+ years of cloud computing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of engagements across multi-stream, agile, technical work for government customers.
• Plan, organize, and manage all phases of a project lifecycle including requirements, governance, schedules, milestones, budgets, and team goals.
• Ensure goal alignment across stakeholder groups and deliver executive updates, sprint plans, and financial reports.
• Guide customers through cloud transformation and ensure value delivery while managing scope, schedule, and cost.
• Travel to client locations as needed for engagements.
