Job summary

Google is seeking a Customer Engineer (Databases) to collaborate with technical sales teams and differentiate Google Cloud for customers. You will design data foundation architectures and MVPs to promote specialized solutions, solving analytics-centered issues and guiding customers to adoption.

In this role, you will partner with Platform CEs and liaise with product/engineering teams to stay ahead of industry trends and deliver customer-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience required.
• 10 years of cloud native architecture experience in a customer-facing or support role.
• Ability to engage with technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
• Experience with database technologies (SQL/NoSQL) and data migrations.
• Experience using programming languages to design demos for customers.
• Experience with databases on cloud native architectures.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical wins for complex workloads in data analytics and support the full customer lifecycle.
• Provide technical consultation and build customer relationships.
• Develop reusable solutions and assets with the Go-To-Market team.
• Offer feedback to product and engineering to improve architectures.
• Document and prioritize customer feature requests and issues.
