Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a database specialist Solutions Architect to act as a trusted advisor for State & Local Government, Education, and related customers pursuing complex database migration and modernization in the cloud.

You will architect solutions across Amazon RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, ElastiCache, Neptune, MemoryDB, and Oracle Database, guiding migrations, performance optimization, and enablement workshops that scale across field teams to deliver measurable outcomes

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.

Responsibilities

Design and architect end-to-end database solutions for public sector customers, leading discussions on migration and modernization across relational and NoSQL databases.
Lead migration assessments, performance optimization engagements, and architecture reviews with focus on scalability, reliability, cost optimization, and operational excellence.
Provide strategic technical guidance through 1:1 advisory sessions and enablement workshops translating business requirements into technical solutions.
