Job summary

State of Ohio's Department of Children and Youth in Columbus seeks a team-oriented IT professional to support process automation projects such as OCLQS, TAP, OB, and OPR. The role focuses on business and systems analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation.

You will collaborate with program staff, IT teams, vendors, and contractors, develop process models, validate designs, and support testing and deployment to ensure compliant, efficient solutions that meet state policy.

Qualifications

• Requires 24 months of recent experience delivering human services software projects.
• Experience explaining and applying laws, policies and procedures relevant to business workflows.

Responsibilities

• Conduct business and systems analysis to support IT projects and process automation.
• Elicit, document, and validate requirements with program, IT, and vendor stakeholders.
• Define project scope and produce BRDs, functional specs, and related artifacts.
• Maintain knowledge of agency systems and policies (OCLQS, TAP, OB, OPR).
• Serve as liaison between program areas, IT teams, external partners, and contractors.
