Qualifications

• Four-year college degree, preferably in Accounting.
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field acceptable with equivalent knowledge.
• Experience with audit testing and internal controls preferred.
• Strong analytical and mathematical abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Gains understanding of policies, practices and procedures of the audited function and assesses fraud risks factors.
• Audits various functions and applies knowledge to engagements.
• Maintains effective communication with all levels of management.
• Acts as a self-starter and works with minimal supervision.
• Conducts preliminary studies, prepares audit program, objectives, risks, scope, questionnaires, and correspondence.
• Performs fieldwork including testing, confirmations, schedules, narratives, and internal control evaluation.
• Documents work performed in working papers clearly and concisely.
• Prepares findings and questioned costs based on audit testing.
• Participates in exit conferences.
