Ernst & Young LLP in the United States is seeking a Manager for Government & Public Sector Assurance. You will be the primary day-to-day client contact, lead teams, and manage field work while delivering quality assurance services in accounting, governance, and regulatory spaces.

ideal candidates have CPA status, strong project management, and experience in public accounting. Travel up to 30–80% may be required depending on federal or state/local projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• U.S. CPA license required.
• Secret clearance or higher must be obtainable.
• Approximately 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree with ~4 years of related work experience, with ~2 years of audit experience at a public accounting firm.
• Excellent project management skills; advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Dedication to teamwork and leadership.
• Integrity within a professional environment.

Responsabilités

• Serve as primary day-to-day client contact and build relationships.
• Develop knowledge on current issues, profession, and business developments relevant to the client's industry.
• Direct field work and manage assurance staff performance.
• Provide guidance and feedback to assurance staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Demonstrate understanding of accounting/auditing concepts and apply to client situations.
• Encourage staff to contribute ideas; maintain an efficient, innovative team environment.
• Utilize technology to learn and share knowledge within the assurance team.
• Understand EY service lines and identify opportunities to apply services.
