Job summary

EY in the United States seeks a Manager in Government & Public Sector Assurance to help grow our practice. You will lead client relationships, manage assurance teams and apply accounting/auditing expertise to complex client scenarios.

You'll work in a hybrid model, travel up to 30–80% depending on client needs, and contribute to a dynamic, team-based environment with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ~5 years related work exp, or graduate degree with ~4 years exp and ~2 years audit exp.
• U.S. CPA license.
• Secret clearance or higher.
• Excellent project management skills; advanced written and verbal communication.
• Teamwork and leadership.
• Willingness to travel up to 30–80% depending on practice.
• CGFM and/or CDFM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary day-to-day contact for audit clients and build relationships.
• Direct field work and inform supervisors of engagement status; manage assurance staff performance.
• Demonstrate thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts.
• Develop people by delegating audit tasks and providing guidance.
• Provide performance feedback and conduct reviews for assurance staff.
• Contribute ideas to assurance teams and foster a collaborative environment.
