EY's Government & Public Sector Assurance practice seeks a Senior Manager to lead audit engagements for federal, state, local, and education clients. You will serve as the primary day-to-day contact, shaping strategy and delivering high-quality assurance work.

Travel up to 25-30% in a hybrid environment may be required. You will mentor teams, manage projects, and deepen client relationships while applying advanced accounting and auditing knowledge to complex engagements within a collaborative,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with approximately 8 years of related work experience, or graduate degree with approximately 7 years of related work experience.
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
U.S. CPA license.
Approximately 4 years of audit experience with a public accounting firm.
Excellent project management skills.
Advanced written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Be the primary day-to-day contact for our clients and build relationships while managing teams and projects.
Learn about current issues, profession, and business developments relevant to the client’s industry.
Direct field work, inform supervisors of engagement status, and manage assurance staff performance.
Provide guidance to assurance staff and deliver high-quality audit services.
