Job summary

The Citrus County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage payments for goods and services used by BOCC departments. Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable, accounting, or related field.
• Previous government/public sector experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process payments for goods and services for BOCC departments.
• Review invoices for accuracy and required documentation before payment.
• Manage voids, reissues, and stop payments with proper records.
• Handle vendor information changes and W-9 verification.
• Process Board Checks and ACH payment files in a timely manner.
• Perform pre-audit reviews of purchasing card charges.
