Job summary

Rent.Fun is expanding its sales team to partner with municipalities and parks departments for city-wide kayak, bike, and recreation rentals. The role blends in-office collaboration with remote independence, emphasizing AI-assisted prospecting and government procurement conversations.

You will own the sales cycle, build relationships with city officials, and leverage HubSpot to maintain a clean CRM while driving pipeline growth in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a BDR/SDR or full-cycle sales role.
• Comfortable using AI tools (Claude/ChatGPT) for prospecting, research, and writing.
• Strong written and verbal communication with government/public-sector stakeholders.
• Organized, self-motivated, able to manage a pipeline in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle sales process from qualifying inbound leads to closing new accounts.
• Use AI tools daily to accelerate prospecting, research accounts, and draft outreach/proposals.
• Build and manage a pipeline of municipal, parks & recreation, and public-agency prospects.
• Run discovery calls and demos to understand community needs for app-based kayak/rec-equipment rental and bikeshare.
• Navigate early-stage government procurement conversations and hand off complex RFP work with senior support.
• Build relationships with city officials and community leaders.
• Keep CRM data clean and use sales analytics to prioritize the pipeline.
• Contribute ideas to improve sales collateral and AI-assisted workflows.
