Job summary

Winton Woods City Schools in Cincinnati, Ohio seeks a District Treasurer to serve as the chief fiscal officer and board secretary, overseeing district finances and regulatory compliance.

In partnership with the Superintendent, the Treasurer will lead budgeting, forecasting, audits, and financial reporting while building strong internal controls and ensuring transparency with the Board and public.

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio School Treasurer License or eligibility before start date.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field.
• Knowledge of Ohio school finance, budgeting, forecasting, and tax levies.

Responsibilities

• Direct all district accounting, budgeting, payroll, purchasing and cash management.
• Prepare financial forecasts and annual appropriations and tax budget.
• Coordinate annual audit with the Auditor of State.
• Develop long-range financial plans aligning resources with priorities.
• Advise Board and Superintendent on financial impact of decisions.
