Job summary

Main Line Health in Radnor, PA is seeking a Public Safety Telecom Specialist to manage high-volume calls, dispatch public safety resources, and monitor security systems. You will handle emergent and non-emergency inquiries with confidentiality and professional service.

The role requires at least five years of customer service or call center experience, a day shift (7:00am–3:00pm), and a commitment to teamwork, safety, and timely incident communication. Tuition reimbursement available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive and process external calls and internal requests for safety resources.
• Dispatch public safety resources to reported incidents.
• Monitor alarm systems, CCTV, RMS, and other security technologies.
• Initiate emergency activations and document incidents accurately.

Position: Public Safety Telecom Specialist

Shift: 40hrs (7:00am – 3:00pm) Monday – Friday, working every other weekend and rotating holidays.

• Make an Impact! The Telecommunicator-Specialist is the first point of contact for external inbound calls and internal requests for safety and security resources. The Specialist receives and processes all requests and transactions in a professional, expedient, efficient, customer-focused, and confidential manner using the provided policy, procedures, systems, and technology. The Specialist answers a high volume of emergent and non-emergency telephone calls, dispatches public safety resources to reported incidents, provides relevant information to callers, and routes calls to the appropriate parties. The Specialist utilizes established technology and systems to monitor alarm systems, facility access, closed circuit television (CCTV) monitoring and the health of mission critical equipment (i.e., generators etc. ); manage incident communication and documentation using records management system (RMS); and initiate emergency activations for affected facilities and personnel.
