Job summary

Mission Critical Partners seeks a Technology Specialist to support its Facilities and Operations Practice Team. You will assist in evaluating, specifying, implementing, and supporting public safety technologies within 9-1-1 centers and related facilities.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical aptitude, experience with mission-critical public safety technologies, and the ability to work with clients, vendors, architects, and internal teams. Travel up to 30–50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Telecommunications, Engineering, Public Safety Technology, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience supporting public safety technology systems, telecommunications, IT infrastructure, or mission-critical operations.
• Experience with public safety environments including 9-1-1, dispatch, emergency operations.

Responsibilities

• Support assessment, planning, procurement and implementation of public safety software systems.
• Conduct onsite surveys and evaluations of existing systems, workflows, and environments.
• Collaborate with project managers, consultants, architects, engineers, and client stakeholders.
• Develop technical specifications, procurement docs, and implementation plans.
• Travel to client sites as needed, up to 30–50%.
