Job summary

The Technology Systems Specialist III position at County of Marin’s Marin County Fire Department focuses on the technical aspects of divisional programs, optimizing the use of critical fire operation technologies. It reports to the Technology Systems Manager in Fire Administration and manages multi-platform systems beyond IST support.

This full-time, on-site role requires expertise in public safety tech, cloud and on-prem software, and collaboration with public safety teams to maintain

Qualifications

• Two years of college level or technical training in computer science or a closely related field.
• Three years performing network and/or personal computer user support.

Responsibilities

• Support mission-critical environments such as emergency dispatch and mobile command centers.
• Manage on-premises and cloud-based enterprise software and hardware systems.
• Provide support across Administration, Operations, OEM, and ECC by optimizing department-wide technologies.
