Facility Contract Services is seeking an IT Support Specialist to deliver on-site and remote technology support for the Fire Department across multiple stations. The role emphasizes reliability of mission‑critical systems and requires strong customer service and communication skills.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in information systems and at least five years of hands-on IT support, with experience in Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems or closely related field.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on end-user IT support experience in a professional environment.
• Experience supporting Windows-based desktops, laptops, printers, and standard office productivity applications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary IT support for Fire Department facilities across multiple locations.
• Provide on-site and remote support for mission-critical public safety systems and hardware.
• Respond to Helpdesk requests, document incidents, and follow up until resolution.
• Deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, mobile devices, printers, and related IT equipment.
• Assist staff with technology usage and basic hardware/software troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and end-user issues in a multi-site environment.
• Support software/hardware installations, upgrades, and replacements.
• Provide off-hours, on-call, and emergency IT support as required.
• Assist IT disaster recovery and emergency response efforts.
