Job summary

Office of Technology and Innovation (OTI) in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Public Safety IT Project Manager for the Tech Refresh portfolio. You will oversee design, implementation, and integration of upgrades for 9-1-1 systems and work with enterprise architects, PMs, cyber, and audit teams to ensure a secure, compliant rollout.

You will manage budgets, timelines, and resources, develop risk plans, and report to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field plus years of experience in IT project management.
• Experience managing large-scale IT projects, preferably public safety or government.
• Strong knowledge of PMO methodologies and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, implementation, and integration of new/upgraded technologies for 9-1-1.
• Coordinate with architects, PMs, infrastructure leads, and vendors.
• Develop risk mitigation plans and monitor project risks and issues.
• Create charters, scope statements, status reports, and dashboards.
• Manage budgets and resources across multiple projects and teams.
