Job summary

RapidSOS is a leading public safety AI company delivering mission-critical data to emergency response centers across the United States. As a Technical Implementation Manager, you will lead on-site deployments, configure systems, and ensure successful go-lives.

This role requires deep VoIP knowledge, strong project management, and frequent travel to ECCs. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to optimize field execution and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in field implementation, VoIP systems engineering, or technical project management with on-site deployment.
• Deep knowledge of VoIP infrastructure (SIP, PBX, SBCs) and telephony in public safety environments.
• Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting software and hardware in live production environments.
• Ability to represent RapidSOS professionally to customers and guide partners through timelines and milestones.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute technical field deployments, including configuration, installation, and testing of VOIP-integrated RapidSOS solutions at ECCs.
• Own end-to-end implementation timeline from onboarding to go-live and ensure all technical/logistical tasks are completed on-site, on-time, and to a high quality standard.
• Travel frequently (75%) to public safety customer locations across the U.S. for on-site installs and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with local IT teams, system administrators, and telephony providers to integrate RapidSOS products into varied environments.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Account Management, and Customer Success to expedite issues and optimize field execution.
• Act as the technical liaison and SME on VoIP infrastructure requirements and best practices.
• Identify scope and technical risks, assist in overcoming limitations.
• Gather feedback from field installs and customer interactions to drive improvements in playbooks and docs.
