Job summary

Tyler Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the implementation of Tyler software for new and existing accounts. You will manage projects from contract signing through transition to CSAM and Support Teams, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.

Responsibilities include developing project plans, coordinating resources, guiding release planning, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely revenue recognition. Travel to client sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Typically, a minimum of three years of experience as an implementation professional.
• Experience in Public Safety domain and/or Enterprise Public Safety software, or equivalent software solution.
• PMP certification pursued and maintained after certification.
• Software life cycle and enterprise software knowledge.
• Excellent planning, organizational skills and ability to follow-through to completion.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to various audiences including management.
• Proficiency using computers and exposure to IT infrastructure components.
• Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and persuasion skills.
• Ability to travel and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Public Safety Experience Required

Responsibilities

• Develop the implementation project plan and officially start projects with stakeholders.
• Work with the sales team as contracts are signed and review site-specific requirements.
• Manage all aspects of projects delivering client software and services on time and within budget.
• Coordinate resources to meet project needs and track project activity.
• Guide clients through release planning in support of the project schedule.
• Submit monthly project status reports and review revenue recognition.
• Communicate progress and risks to management and stakeholders.
• Ensure smooth transition to CSAM and Support Teams at project close.
• Travel to client sites as needed.
