Job summary

Pechanga Tribal Government seeks a Ranger to deliver public safety services on the Pechanga Indian Reservation and related properties. The role includes first response, patrols, investigations, and enforcement of tribal ordinances, with training and collaboration with partner agencies.

The candidate must meet health, age, license, and certification requirements, be flexible for shifts, and pass background and drug tests as part of a strong public safety team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least two years of experience as a first responder in law enforcement or security preferred.
• Must be in good physical and mental health and 21+ years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls for service and patrol the reservation and facilities.
• Investigate incidents and write reports of misconduct or accidents.
• Enforce tribal ordinances and ensure safety of scenes for responders.
• Provide security and crowd control at events and during patrols.
• Maintain communications using radio and computer systems.
• Complete required training to maintain performance standards.
