Job summary

City and County of Denver seeks a Public Service Radio Technician for the Electronic Engineering Bureau (EEB) in Denver. You will support mobile terminals, radios, and infrastructure, with server and network duties as needed.

The role requires 3+ years in IT communications maintenance, vehicle installations, and CJIS clearance. In-person work at the EEB location offers stable public service career opportunities with excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Education requirement: High school diploma or GED.
• Three (3) years’ experience performing IT communications maintenance, repair and installation.
• CJIS clearance must be obtained within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Install two-way radios in the city’s fleet of vehicles.
• Program Mobile and Portable two-way radios.
• Repair of electronic equipment including two-way radios and MDTs.
• Install various electronic equipment into the City’s vehicle fleet.
• Design and configure portions of IT communications infrastructure.
