Qualifications

  • Certifications required include Less Lethal Force Option, NAPD Driving, SFST, Intoxilyzer 9000, CPR/First Aid.
  • Equivalent experience or education may meet minimum qualifications with approval.

Responsibilities

  • Patrol city areas on rotating shifts, respond to emergencies and incidents.
  • Perform first aid, interview witnesses, and preserve evidence.
  • Conduct follow-up investigations and prepare reports for court testimony.
  • Maintain professional communications with citizens, colleagues, and dispatch.
  • Comply with laws and department policies; maintain equipment and facilities.
