Qualifications

• Completion of Patrol Field Training Program and Louisiana POST Academy.
• Certifications in CPR/First Aid, Less Lethal Force Option, NAPD Driving, SFST, and Intoxilyzer 9000.

Responsibilities

• Patrol city streets and respond to emergency calls to deter and detect crime.
• Conduct investigations, interview victims, witnesses and suspects.
• Prepare reports and provide testimony in court when required.
• Maintain professional communications with citizens and colleagues.
