Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Be familiar with policies and procedures and convey instructions to personnel under supervision.
  • Perform policing duties to the level of certification and respond to emergencies.
  • Conduct preventative patrol, investigate crimes, interview suspects, witnesses, and victims.
  • Investigate traffic crashes and hazardous road conditions; prepare reports and testify in court.
  • Apprehend and arrest violators, serve warrants; mediate disputes and assist in Mental Health incidents.
  • Provide traffic and crowd control during events; maintain facility, gear, and equipment.
