Responsibilities

• Directs pedestrian and vehicular traffic at assigned school crossing locations.
• Assists children and pedestrians in safely crossing streets during designated hours.
• Monitors and observes traffic flow to identify potential hazards and take preventive measures.
• Reports traffic violations and unsafe conditions to local law enforcement authorities.
• Provides friendly and courteous assistance to children, parents, and school staff.
• Maintains a professional and alert demeanor while on duty.
• Follows established procedures and guidelines for traffic control and pedestrian safety.
• Coordinates with school administrators, local police, and transportation officials as necessary.
• Attends training sessions and meetings as required.
