Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to maintain safety for patients, staff and visitors. You will perform routine safety and emergency security duties, respond to incidents, and protect people and property within the facility.

The role emphasizes de-escalation, sound judgment, and readiness to act as a first responder to emergencies. Prior public safety experience is preferred, and a valid GA driver license is required.

• 2 years experience in general security, military or other public safety preferred

• IAHSS - Certification As A Security Officer within 1 Year Required
• Must pass pre-employment psychological screening Required
• Must pass and maintain all training requirements to maintain employment to include certifications in Taser, ASP Baton, Mental Health First Aid, and others as directed Required
• Georgia Peace Officer Standards & Training (P.O.S.T.) certification Preferred
