Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a security officer to be the first responder for routine safety and emergency security activities within the facility. The role involves safeguarding patients, staff, visitors, and property and requires sound judgment in de-escalating critical situations.

No prior experience is required, but 2 years in general security or related public safety is preferred, along with a valid state driver license and required certifications.

• Must pass and maintain all training requirements to maintain employment to include certifications in Taser, ASP Baton, Mental Health First Aid, and others as directed Required
• Georgia Peace Officer Standards & Training (P.O.S.T.) certification Preferred
