Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a security professional to perform routine safety and emergency security activities, safeguarding students, employees, visitors and property.

As a first responder, you will handle emergencies and de-escalate critical events with sound judgment when faced with combative individuals. No experience required, but 2 years preferred; relevant licenses and certifications are required.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years experience in general security, military or public safety preferred.
• Driver license valid in-state and adherence to policy.
• IAHSS certification as a Security Officer within 1 year required.
• Pre-employment psychological screening required.
• Must pass and maintain trainings: Taser, ASP Baton, Mental Health First Aid and related trainings.
