Job summary

Saint Clare's Health, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks an Evening Security Officer to safeguard patients, employees and visitors across its campus network in New Jersey. The role emphasizes adherence to policies, supervision of rounds, and collaboration with the Environment of Care committee to maintain a safe environment.

Requires experience in healthcare security and a valid state driver’s license; State Guard certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs security services, including electronic surveillance and security rounds.

• Follows guidelines and monitoring techniques to maintain a safe workplace.
• Collaborates with Environment of Care committee for a multidisciplinary safety approach.
• May drive as needed for company business.

Responsibilities

Performs security services, including electronic surveillance, and systematic manual Security Officers rounds. Coordinates facility response to various potential problems for patients, employees, and visitors. Enforces policy & procedure, ensuring equitable enforcement. Follows guidelines and perpetual monitoring techniques, towards establishing a safe workplace for employees and a safe environment of care. Works with the Environment of Care committee to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to security and safety. Participates in employee awareness and education.. Driving as needed for company business.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $17.00/Hr. to $23.74/Hr. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
