Job summary

City of Georgetown, Texas, is seeking a Police Logistics Technician to coordinate acquisition, receipt, storage, issuance, tracking, maintenance, and disposition of uniforms, protective gear, equipment, and assets for the Georgetown Police Department.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory control, warehousing, purchasing, logistics, or asset management.
• Knowledge of law-enforcement equipment and supplies a plus.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and forecast needs.

Responsibilities

• Manages quartermaster and logistics functions including procurement and inventory control.
• Maintains electronic and physical inventory records; conducts audits and forecasts needs.
• Purchases and issues uniforms, gear, radios, and other equipment per policies.
• Coordinates with Finance, Purchasing, and vendors on asset management and readiness.
• Provides logistical support for events and emergencies; prepares reports and records.
