Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prefer one year of relevant experience or related college coursework or vocational training.
• Proficiency in typing and ability to communicate effectively under stress.
• Will provide NCIC/FCIC certification; 911 telecommunications certification after the first year.
• Shift work including days, nights, weekends and holidays; possible $2.00 shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Operate dispatch phones, radio and computer systems in a public safety communications center.
• Assist in coordination of emergency responses and ensure accurate information transmission.
