Qualifications

• Two years of public contact experience, in person or over the telephone.
• Equivalent to completion of the twelfth (12th) grade/ GED, or higher level degree.
• Must possess a valid California driver’s license and must obtain POST Public Safety Dispatcher Basic Certificate within one year of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Handle emergency and non‑emergency calls and provide dispatch coordination.
• Coordinate with police, fire, and medical services during incidents.
