Qualifications

• Two years of experience performing duties similar to Dispatcher I.
• Equivalent to completion of twelfth grade GED or higher.
• Possession of a valid California driver's license by date of appointment; POST and NAEMD certifications within one year.

Responsibilities

• Answer emergency and non-emergency calls for Police, Fire and City services; prioritize calls and dispatch units as appropriate.
• Perform related record keeping and clerical work as required.
