Job summary

Madison County Sheriff's Office is seeking a dispatcher for the Emergency Communications Center. You will handle 911 and non-emergency calls, determine needs, and dispatch deputies, fire services and other responders using radios and CAD.

Responsibilities include logging calls, maintaining radio contact, and working rotating shifts including nights, weekends and holidays. Must complete APCO Public Safety Telecommunicator course, pass CritiCall, drug screen, and background check.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED. Desire experience in enabling emergency communications.
