Georgia Ports Authority seeks a Police Communications Officer to operate in the Security Operations Center, monitor CJIS terminals, and dispatch police and emergency services using radios and CAD systems. Requires GCIC/NCIC familiarity and completion of the BCO course and GCIC certification.

• Able to work under pressure and stay composed.

Responsabilités

• Monitors radio frequencies, prioritizes events, and dispatches police via radios/CAD.
• Maintains accurate location/status of personnel and equipment.
• Responds to emergencies and coordinates units as needed.
• Accesses GCIC/NCIC databases for investigative purposes.
• Keeps logs of public safety communications activity.
• Complies with department regulations and safety standards.
