Job summary

Health & Human Services Commission’s Texas Civil Commitment Office seeks a Civil Commitment Manager to lead the case management team, develop guidelines, budgets, and program standards. The role supervises case managers, ensures 24/7 availability for supervision of sexually violent predators, and complies with state policy and reporting requirements.

You will coordinate audits, train staff, and implement policy changes while collaborating with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and case management experience.
• Knowledge of state and federal laws affecting civil commitment.
• Ability to supervise staff and manage complex workloads.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of staff supervising sexually violent predators.
• Develop policies, procedures, and training.
• Prepare audits and reports to evaluate the program.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate program activities.
