Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services seeks a Civil Commitment Manager (Manager II) to oversee the Texas Civil Commitment Office's case management of sexually violent predators. The position is based in Littlefield, TX, with up to 80% travel, day shift, and no telework eligibility. Salary ranges from $5,098.66 to $8,304.83 per month plus full benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Experience in case management work and supervising staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of employees supervising sexually violent predators civilly committed under Health and Safety code.
• Supervises case managers and maintains 24/7 availability for supervision and oversight.
• Develops budgets, policies, procedures, and training; conducts audits and research to improve program effectiveness.
