Job summary

Loudoun County Fire and Rescue seeks an experienced Budget and Administration Manager to oversee the department’s budgets, EMS cost recovery, grants, procurement, and major projects. This role supports financial strategy and operational readiness in a growing public safety organization.

Responsibilities include presenting to the Board, conducting fiscal analyses, and advising leadership on long-range planning; a Master's degree and public sector experience are required, with telework eligibility

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, Public Policy, or related field.
• Minimum four years of government budgeting, financial management, or planning experience.
• CPA and/or CPFO preferred but not required.
• Teleworking is eligible after the third full month with supervisor approval.

Responsibilities

• Develops, analyzes, and monitors departmental budgets.
• Prepares Board of Supervisors items and related documentation.
• Conducts detailed fiscal analysis and advises on long-range planning.
• Supports procurement functions and major departmental projects.
