BodyHealth is a rapidly growing Nutritional Supplement company based in Dunedin Florida!
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Public Relations (PR) Specialist to drive brand awareness and engagement through impactful events, media outreach, influencer activations, and product seeding programs. This role will focus on managing high-profile events, building media relationships, executing strategic PR initiatives, and maximizing brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute PR and marketing-driven events (8-12 annually) in partnership with an event/production company, including media events, influencer activations, product launch experiences.
• Handle all communication with event/production company for large-scale events, for smaller-scale events handle all logistics, including invite list creation & execution, venue selection & contracts, creative signage, gift bags, sampling of product, budget tracking and payment of all parties (via internal accounting processes)
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, podcast hosts, and key media contacts in the wellness, fitness, and healthcare industries.
• Pitch brand, products, research, and brand story to secure earned media coverage across key outlets.
• Manage and execute a responsible product seeding program for journalists, influencers, and key industry figures, including tracking P&L and reporting on outcomes.
• Monitor, track, and analyze performance from product seeding efforts to ensure ROI and continued effectiveness.
• Amplify Tier 1 talent partnerships through media outreach, event integration, and PR strategies to maximize visibility and brand impact.
• Provide detailed monthly reports on PR performance, event success, media placements, and seeding results.
• Track and measure key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of PR initiatives and identify areas for optimization.
Qualifications:
• 2-5 years of PR, event execution, or media relations experience, preferably in wellness, fitness, supplements, or consumer goods.
• Proven ability to plan and execute events that generate media coverage.
• Strong media relationships and experience securing press placements.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Strong pulse on culture, including but not limited to what individuals and brands are influencing cultural shift.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for pitching, event coordination, and reporting.
• Familiarity with PR tracking tools, media databases, and event planning software.
Language Skills:
Must speak English. Must have solid written and verbal communication skills, ability to pay attention to detail and maintain confidentiality, strong interpersonal skills, and commitment to working with a diverse staff are essential to successful carry out the duties of this position. Excellent ability to communicate. Ability to draft reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and employees.
Location:
This is a remote position that is based out of Los Angeles, New York City, or Miami. Travel to events is required.
