Chaminade Julienne is seeking a Public Relations Coordinator to promote the school's mission, manage media relations, and boost community engagement across local, regional, and national audiences. This full-time role reports to the director of marketing and communications and centers on content creation, brand consistency, website updates, and event promotion.

Chaminade Julienne seeks a mission-driven individual who looks forward to immersing into the experience of CJ and connecting with the community’s members and traditions — serving as the school’s public relations coordinator. The coordinator reports to the director of marketing and communications and is responsible for promoting the school’s mission (brand), major events and information services, and increasing public engagement. This will be accomplished by leading the production of and coordinating the regular distribution of CJ content via media releases and promotions, locally, regionally, and nationally.
Responsibilities include coordinating and executing PR campaigns; identifying and coordinating opportunities that garner school recognition in the local, regional and national communities; and identifying and setting up opportunities for school leaders to share their expertise to a broader community (media, organizations, businesses). Additionally, the coordinator will manage parent communications, the school’s website and will partner with the assistant director to plan and execute strategic social media campaigns. =
The successful candidate will have a degree in communications, PR, or marketing with relevant experience in the world of communications and promotions, and will have strong skills in writing and in producing composed communications that includes text, photos, graphics and video. The coordinator will be proficient in the use of communications tools and social media, and have the ability to develop strong working relationships within the CJ community and with those externally who can help promote the mission of CJ. The successful candidate will have the willingness to understand the school’s Catholic mission (school brand) as lived according to the traditions of the school’s founding religious communities, The Marianists and the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur.
