Job summary

Chaminade Julienne is seeking a Public Relations Coordinator to promote the school's mission, manage media relations, and boost community engagement across local, regional, and national audiences. This full-time role reports to the director of marketing and communications and centers on content creation, brand consistency, website updates, and event promotion.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong writing, visual storytelling, and proactive outreach.

Qualifications

• A degree in communications, PR, or marketing and relevant experience in promotions.
• Strong writing and ability to produce text, photos, graphics and video.
• Proficiency with communications tools and social media; build internal and external relationships.
• Willingness to promote CJ's Catholic mission and brand identity.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute PR campaigns; identify opportunities for school recognition nationwide.
• Create content for website, publications and social media (text, photos, graphics, video).
• Manage CJ website content, updates, employment posts, and the events calendar.
• Create and send regular newsletters; assist with email marketing campaigns.
• Support brand management; participate in crisis/critical communications as needed.
• Collaborate with departments to plan events and promotions for school-sponsored activities.
