Job Description

NEAT is seeking a Public Relations Coordinator to support our lead PR strategist in day-to-day outreach for our clients. Our fast-paced environment demands a dynamic individual who is comfortable with change, highly creative, and has a passion for writing.

We are growing rapidly and need support to continue delivering an incredible client experience while maintaining our 80% client retention rate. NEAT partners with all kinds of business, including CPG brands, direct-to-consumer retailers, consumer goods companies, and more. We are proud to support business owners from various backgrounds, from startups to fortune 500 brands!

In this role, you will support our clients in a variety of PR campaigns, including digital and print features, influencer marketing, podcast pitches, media list building, and social media support. We’re looking for someone who is highly creative and loves writing and sourcing media lists!

This is a remote position with flexible hours, with the expectation that tasks are completed on time and that clients/team communication is responded to within 48 hours.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in PR, with a preference for agency experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in public relations, marketing, communication, English, or business
• Internally-motivated and deadline-driven with excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills and experience with all current social media platforms
• Experience with media list-building tools such as Prowly, Cision, or Muck Rack
• Experience manually sourcing media lists
• Experience with Google Drive platforms, including Docs and Sheets
• Able to work both independently AND under direction to accomplish the PR goals of our clients. You are a self-starter who is open to coaching and feedback.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You can communicate your ideas clearly and effectively to team members, clients, and media outlets.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to our lead PR strategist for direction, tasks, and updates.
• Play a key role in all communications and help deliver an excellent customer experience. This includes writing/sending pitches and following up with outreach.
• Assist in campaign execution across several channels, including Social Media, Email, Podcast, SMS, Virtual and In-Person Speaking events, and more.
• Assist in the analysis of PR campaigns and update the Lead PR Strategist with engagement and success metrics.
• Support the creation and execution of campaigns—this could include writing a pitch to be sent out via email to podcast hosts to land the client more visibility and speaking opportunities.

This is a salary, W2 position with a pay range of $41,000 - $45,000
