Job summary

The University of Washington in Seattle is seeking a Compliance Analyst to join the Compliance and Risk Services team. You will review public records requests, analyze the Washington State Public Records Act, and determine exemptions under statutes or case law.

You will collaborate with faculty and staff and prepare statistics and reports for management. Strong writing, analytical, and confidentiality skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Records Management, Business Administration, or related field with analytical writing ability.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for degree.
• Experience in WA Public Records compliance or discovery review is preferred.
• Strong judgment and ability to work under deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Access.
