Job summary

The candidate will produce AutoCAD drawings, review traffic models, and ensure compliance with AASHTO, MUTCD, and NYC DOT standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in city planning or related field or
• Bachelor's degree with 1 year of related city planning experience or
• equivalent combination of education and experience as specified in the ad.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed street designs balancing pedestrian, bicycle, and vehicle needs.
• Create AutoCAD drawings for street configurations, curbs, and lane layouts.
• Review Synchro models for intersection capacity and level of service.
• Coordinate with DOT divisions and external agencies on design standards.
