Job summary

Cencora is seeking a strategic, detail-oriented professional to lead the U.S. Public Policy & Advocacy team in Washington, DC. The role oversees the PAC, grassroots initiatives, and compliance while engaging executives and stakeholders to advance policy priorities.

The ideal candidate will bring 4+ years in government affairs, strong policy analysis skills, and a proven ability to manage complex programs across regulatory and political environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in public policy or related field.
• 4+ years in government affairs or public policy/advocacy.
• Experience managing a federal PAC or corporate PAC is a plus.
• Working knowledge of FEC rules and campaign finance laws.
• Understanding of U.S. government, legislative processes, and regulatory environment.
• Experience presenting to senior management and executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Cencora's PAC and fundraising initiatives.
• Oversee grassroots programs and GOTV political programs.
• Plan and execute political program events for internal audiences.
• Ensure PAC governance, compliance, and reporting accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate communications, briefings, and materials for PAC Board meetings.
• Develop and maintain relationships with campaign fundraisers and industry colleagues.
