Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is seeking a Sr. Director of Public Policy to direct and execute the enterprise public policy agenda in the United States.

This role leads a small policy team and external consultants, collaborating with Corporate Affairs, Market Access, R&D, Regulatory, and Commercial to align policy with business and science priorities. The position sits in Washington, DC with some travel; requires strategic oversight of policy initiatives and active engagement with trade groups

Formación

• At least 10 years of experience in health policy, public programs (Medicare/Medicaid), or government sectors.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing high-performing teams.

Responsabilidades

• Develops and executes the US public policy agenda in line with strategic goals.
• Leads the Government Affairs Leadership Team (GALT) and collaborates across functions (Regulatory, R&D, Commercial, Market Access).
• Monitors and analyzes legislative/regulatory developments (Medicare/Medicaid, FDA, price controls, 340B).
• Represents Otsuka in major U.S. trade associations like PhRMA and maintains external stakeholder relationships.
