Job summary

Central New Mexico Community College is seeking a Parking Enforcement Officer to perform duties related to enforcing campus parking and fleet regulations. The role emphasizes public relations and compliance with campus rules.

The officer will conduct patrols, monitor meters and spaces, issue citations, and maintain detailed records. Weekend/evening shifts may be required to support events and operations across the campus fleet.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, and customer service or related experience.
• Valid unrestricted Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Patrols to identify violations and stays updated on CNM parking regs.
• Monitor meters and spaces to ensure compliance.
• Issue parking citations for violations of CNM regulations.
• Record details of violations with date, time, location.
• Maintain records of parking violations for admin purposes.
• Provide information about parking rules and assist the Fleet Department as needed.
• Coordinate with towing and booting services for violations.
• Transport fleet vehicles for maintenance and support events as needed.
• Attend training sessions and may work weekends/evenings for events.
