IMA Financial Group, Inc. seeks a leader to head the Public & Labor Practice, building carrier partnerships and expanding brand relationships.

You will develop targeted sales and marketing strategies for prospects and educate producers on IMA’s value proposition and consulting approach. With 5+ years in public or labor client work and a 4-year business degree, you will guide strategy, collaborate across teams, and help deliver best-in-class client service while leading development of talent

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working with public or labor clients.
• Leadership, strategic planning, ability to influence peers, and ability to work in teams.
• Demonstrates above average business acumen related to strategy execution, interdependencies, and decision consequences.
• Demonstrates positive mindset and ability to optimize performance through collaboration.
• Demonstrates ability to adapt in stressful situations and develop strategies for improvements in organizational effectiveness.
• Demonstrates strong ability and commitment to excellence in communication, both written and oral, through active listening, information sharing, and a focus on solutions.
• Attains and maintains Life and Health licensure.
• 4-year degree in business or related discipline preferred

Responsibilities

• Leads strategy, growth, and development of the Public & Labor Practice, including building carrier partnerships and expanding brand relationships.
• Develops targeted sales and marketing strategies for prospects.
• Educates producers on the public and labor value proposition and IMA’s consulting approach; serves as a subject matter expert and a resource for producers.
• Participates in finalist and prospect meetings alongside production staff as needed.
• Supports the development of RFP responses.
• Provides collaboration and thought leadership for service teams specializing in public and labor clients.
• Designs tailored strategies and tactics specific to public and labor clients.
• Shares resources and best practices with service teams related to trends, carriers, and vendors.
• Encourages consistency and efficiency in best-in-class client service delivery.
• May lead strategic consultation efforts for one or more clients.
• Collaborates with IMA Benefits national team, Market Leaders, producers, and strategic partners.
• Cultivates public and labor talent; develops and helps execute an investment plan; creates development pathways for associates; provides regular feedback to team members and supervisors to support professional development and maintain high service standards.
