Job summary

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, system analysis, hardware/software deployment, upgrades, and cross-department collaboration to meet operational needs while ensuring security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of relevant experience.
• 2–5+ years IT support, systems administration, or technical analysis.
• Strong understanding of hardware, software, networking fundamentals, and enterprise applications.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with IT service management principles and ticketing systems.
• Commitment to customer service and public-sector values.
• Successful background and drug screening check.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for city systems, applications, and end-user technologies.
• Analyze system performance, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend enhancements aligned with city standards.
• Assist with the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of hardware, software, and enterprise applications.
• Support system upgrades, patches, and integrations in coordination with IT teams and vendors.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and technical workflows in accordance with city guidelines.
• Monitor system availability, security, and performance to ensure reliable service delivery.
• Collaborate with city departments to understand operational needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Assist with data analysis, reporting, and information management tasks.
• Participate in IT projects, including planning, testing, implementation, and user training.
• Ensure compliance with municipal policies, cybersecurity standards, and state regulations
