Job summary

Civil Science is seeking motivated Infrastructure Interns for Summer 2027 to gain hands-on experience supporting public infrastructure projects alongside engineers, technicians, inspectors, and survey professionals. You will contribute to real projects, gain exposure to multiple areas of civil engineering, and learn how infrastructure improvements move from planning and design through construction.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in civil or construction engineering or related program.
Interest in transportation, construction, or public infrastructure.
Willing to learn, ask questions, take initiative, and own work.
Strong communication and a team-oriented approach.
Experience with Microsoft Office; AutoCAD, Civil 3D or Bluebeam is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support transportation, municipal, utility and other public infrastructure projects.
Assist engineers with plans, drawings, quantities, and technical tasks.
Gain experience using industry software.
Communicate with project managers, contractors, clients, and team members.
Travel to project sites as needed.
