Job summary

Civil Science is seeking motivated Infrastructure Interns for Summer 2027 in Lehi, Utah. This internship provides hands-on experience supporting public infrastructure projects while working alongside experienced engineers, technicians, inspectors, and survey professionals.

You’ll contribute to real projects, gain exposure to multiple areas of civil engineering, and learn how infrastructure improvements move from planning and design through construction.

Qualifications

  • Current enrollment in civil engineering, construction engineering, or a related program.
  • Interest in transportation, construction, or public infrastructure.
  • Willingness to learn, ask questions, take initiative, and own your work.
  • Strong communication skills and a dependable, team-oriented approach.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Bluebeam is a plus.
  • Ability to pass a background check and driving-record review.

Responsibilities

  • Support a variety of transportation, municipal, utility, and other public infrastructure projects.
  • Assist engineers and project teams with plans, drawings, quantities, and technical tasks.
  • Gain experience using industry software
  • Communicate with project managers, contractors, clients, and other team members.
  • Travel to project sites as needed.
